The EBS THERMAcombi is an integrated insulated roller shutter door combined with a high-speed door; which entails only one compact structure for installation.
This door is the ideal, compact solution, for applications where high security demands must be met, smooth and efficient workflows ensured, and where thermal efficiency requirements need to be met.
The EBS THERMAcombi door combines the innovative attributes of 2 of our bestselling doors; security and thermal efficiency of our insulated steel THERMshutter TS door, married together with our thermally insulated, and our self-repairing, PVC rapid-roller doors, the CLASSICspeed SR2 or SR2-CH.

The EBS THERMAcombi door is the perfect solution for applications where; door openings need to be secured, thermal integrity upheld, efficient and safe movement of high-frequency traffic through doorways ensured.
Maintenance and Efficiency
This door is also self-repairing which helps minimise maintenance costs. To help reduce the risk of impact the THERMAcombi door has a frequency converter so that you can manually change the opening speed and slow down the closing speed.

The THERMAcombi door is also an economical solution. The THERMAcombi ’s compact frame not only saves space but reduces the need for steel work and the added costs that come with extra steel work. Out of business hours the doors’ roller shutter insulation reduces energy costs and supplies security.

External Steel Curtain Specifications
- 25mm thick Galvanised steel insulated slats with PU-Foam Core, with plastic end-pieces.
- Thermal insulation U value = 2.0W/m2K.
- Guide rails manufactured in 3.00 mm galvanized steel, with PVC slide seals.
- Motor and controller package; comprising of German manufactured GfA-Elektromaten Safedrive® motor, with digital frequency inverter (soft start/stop) with digital limit switch and including GfA control panel.
- Emergency manual chain crank,
- Opening speeds up to 0.35 m/sec.
Internal High-Speed Curtain Specifications
- Insulated curtain manufactured in 4mm closed-cell polyethylene foam backed, high density industrial PVC fabric (European manufacture), with a 1.5 mm thick PVC transparent vision panel.
- Guide rails manufactured in 3mm thick galvanized and powder coated steel.
- Motor and controller package; comprising of German manufactured GfA-Elektromaten Safedrive® motor, with digital frequency inverter (soft start/stop) with digital limit switch and including GfA control panel.
- Emergency manual chain crank.
- Light Curtain safety system, Stop/Go lights and Emergency manual chain operation.
- Opening speeds up to 1.6 m/sec.
Options
Insulated external shutter curtain is available in standard RAL, and custom Colorbond colours. We can also offer a special slat suitable for high-speed operation when required.
Our insulated internal PVC rapid-roller curtain comes in standard colours – Orange, Blue, Grey, Yellow and Red – We also manufacture in a variety of custom colours at our customers request.
Should thermal efficiency be of higher priority, it is also possible to manufacture the high-speed curtain with our 30mm THERMOspeed insulated material.
